My Ultimate Christmas Playlist

To say that I'm not doing Blogmas this year, I have a fair few christmassy themed blog posts in the works. After my Christmas Wishlist the other week,  and my festive decor post on Sunday, today I am back in the festive mood sharing my go-to Christmas playlist! I've been listening to christmas music at pretty much every opportunity - in the car, on the train, at university - even in the bath! I've found that I work really well whilst I'm listening to a Christmas playlist, and I've busted out about half a dozen assignments with the help of Mr Michael BublĂ©.

To get you all into the festive spirit, I have created a massive playlist for you all to listen to (seriously, it has nearly 4 hours of music!) with the help of my lovely Twitter followers. Including all the classic christmas songs and a few of my less christmassy favourites! Unlike the last playlist I made, I have put it straight into a Spotify playlist so you can start listening straight away!

Pinterest: Festive Home Decor

I'm not going to lie, this post is incredibly last minute (I'm writing it on the train home on Saturday night) so it will most likely end up with me rambling about christmas (update: it ends with me rambling about christmas). I'm usually so organised and have my posts written well in advance - but these last couple have weeks have just been mental! I've got them all planned out but just never seem to have the time to take photos or sit and write them up! But yesterday I took a whole day off from writing essays and headed into the centre of Leeds for Rhianna's Xmas Blogger Meet! A marvelous day packed full of gin, selfies and plenty of bloggers! We went to the Black Swan and it was extremely decked out with christmas trees, ornaments and twinkly fairy lights. So obviously I'm starting to feel all christmassy now - I might even bust out my christmas decorations this week!
Over the last week or so, I have slowly started to get into the christmas spirit. I've been watching people's vlogmas videos on YouTube, I've been listening to christmas music at every opportunity, and I've even started wrapping all my christmas presents! I still don't feel like I'm at a point where I want shout about christmas from the rooftops, but does anyone ever feel that festive? To help me get into the christmassy mood (and distract me from all the assignments I have to write), I have been having serious Pinterest pinning sessions (whats new there?), and there are so many gorgeous decor posts that I am taking inspiration from. Alongside home decoration, I've seen a lot of festive recipes and baking pins and I can't wait to have a go at making some of the recipes!
And that's pretty much all I have to say! I'm almost home so I'm just going to leave you with some of the gorgeous photos that I have saved from Pinterest this week. Theres no doubt that there will be 4638 more pins on my profile by the time this post goes up in the morning, but these are some of my favourites!

Have you started decorating your house yet?

November Beauty Favourites

Apologies, as this post is going to be rather short and sweet as I haven't been mixing much up since my last monthly favourites post. There has only been a couple of things I have been loving. I have 'shopped my stash' and had a good rummage through my collection to see what I could use. I've also purchased a couple of new things that I have been loving too - so here we are again!

Whilst rummaging though my collection, I came across the Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Candy Apple and thought it would be perfect to wear in the run up to the festive season. It is a gorgeously sheer red that is perfect for everyday wear and I have been loving wearing it to university! I have also been loving all the compliments I've got when I've worn it! Another rediscovery is the Soap and Glory Perfect Ten Eyeshadow Palette - this was a limited edition palette that I bought myself last christmas, and they have it (or an extremely similar one) back in this christmas! It is extremely similar to the original Urban Decay Naked palette, and being from Soap and Glory, the quality of the shadows is incredible! They are so buttery and very well pigmented, so if you're in the market for a cheaper neutral palette, or are simply looking for some christmas gifts - definitely check this one out!

At the end of October I reordered the Liz Earle skin bundle, and the free gift inside the bundle was the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint. I didn't really think I'd use it, but since my skin has started (and fingers crossed continues) to clear up, I have really enjoyed using this in place of my foundation.  To apply it, I have been using the Crown Brush SS003 Deluxe Medium Oval Foundation Brush* which I am in love with! It gives such a natural finish and is perfect for applying liquid foundation and BB creams!

What one thing have you been enjoying this month?
